Here is a guide for how our Pembroke Welsh Corgi puppies are born and raised here on our farm.

Puppy Care Timeline

2 Weeks

Puppies are wormed

2 Weeks

3 Weeks

Puppy chow softened with goats milk is introduced at 2.5 to 3 weeks old.

 

3 Weeks

4 Weeks

Pups are wormed again at 4 weeks.

 

4 Weeks

5 Weeks

Around 4-5 weeks we begin evaluating puppies for personalities that will help us determine what home will most suit them. The rancher needing a working LGD does not want the most friendly outgoing pup, nor does the family wanting a pet going to be satisfied with a very aggressive dominant pup.

 

5 Weeks

6 Weeks

Pups are wormed again at 6 weeks.

6 Weeks

7 Weeks

Puppies are Given their 1st puppy shots at 7-8 weeks old. The vaccine I use is Canine Spectra 5. Talk to your vet regarding your need for boosters. Every area and situation is different.

 

7 Weeks

8 Weeks

Puppies are wormed again at 8 weeks. 

Puppies are ready for their new homes at 8 weeks old per Ohio Law.

8 Weeks

Deposits & Payments

We Require a deposit to be placed on our list. A spot on our list is not considered reserved until a deposit is received. Deposits may be made online via card, ACH, or Venmo once your application is approved. You can start by applying here.
The remaining balance is due in cash at pickup. Deposit and pricing information can be found on the corresponding dog pages. 

The deposit is fully refundable or can be transferred to a pup from a different litter should something happen to the puppy that has been reserved. Deposits are NON REFUNDABLE for any other reason.

 

 

Visiting Your Pup

Puppy Owners are welcome to come see the puppies with an appointment prior to weaning and pick up. We DO NOT allow puppies to be picked out prior to pick up at 8 weeks, because more often than not, it is impossible to tell them apart. 

Transport

We work with shippers and transporters regularly getting puppies to their new homes safely. We do reserve the right to refuse sending puppies or dogs with a shipper who we feel has unsafe or unsanitary hauling conditions. These puppies and dogs are entrusted into our care, and we will not compromise the well being of said dog or puppy. Buyer will be notified and other arrangements made.
